Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork
"This was probably my favorite hotel of all the ones we stayed during our tour of Ireland. It was once a hospital and has a lot of neat history. It is located in the Shandon area, very near some beautiful Cathedrals. It is a bit of walk to the actual shopping, but would definitely stay here again. ..."

Isaacs Hotel Cork City
"It was quite expensive to stay there for 4 nights (over 1000 euros on a holiday weekend) so I was expecting a commensurate room. The room was quite small and the bathroom door even smaller. It required anyone who is 6 feet tall or taller to duck down or else bang their head (which I did on one occasion). ..."
