The Amsterdam Canal suites are a great way to feel like you have your own apartment in the city. We found the bed and furniture very comfortable. Closing the blinds at night made for peaceful rest as long as the people above you are not walking around. Footsteps and furniture moving on the floor are noticeable from above if you are just trying for silence. We did not hear other sounds. Kitchen has needed equipment for preparing simple meals. TV and Internet were sufficient to downtime entertainment. We had some issues with cleanliness of the suite, but we were able to work with management to address timely. Shower is hot and water pressure good. We were happy with the location and it made for easy exploration of the city. Nearby restaurants, bakeries and grocery shopping were great.

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel 717, and it was absolutely perfect! The staff were so attentive and helpful from the moment I booked til we got in our taxi to come home. I couldn’t fault a thing! The room was stunning, the perfect retreat after a busy day of walking around Amsterdams gorgeous canals and museums. Thank you to all at Hotel 717.
