“Puerta España gives you the chance to re-Live the 70s in a hotel with character which allows time travel. I enjoyed seeing for the things time doesn't change. Great value for money. Great stop in a city where a packet of cigarettes is 4€ and in North of France is 13€. Enjoy your stay!”

“Surprisingly fancy hotel for this small town. It is about a 30 min walk from the main part of Arles-sur-Tech. We stayed here for one night in the middle of doing the GR10. Room was fine, nothing to complain about. The hotel has a washer and dryer, which was very convenient for us in the middle of our hike. Perhaps unrelated to the hotel, but the attached restaurant serves very small portions of some dishes (plats that should rightfully called appetizers). The buffet breakfast was good.”

“Wonderful location for exploring the local countryside. Biking and hiking seem to have become immensely popular in recent years. A car for me would have been helpful but I needed a rest and the peaceful scented garden was truly heavenly. Lovely old furniture, healthy breakfasts,near the railway station. Warm welcome and kind hosts. A gem.”

“Geweldig hotel, geweldige medewerkers. De aardige dame die ik in de ochtenden trof sprak vloeiend Engels (Gaelic), Frans en maarliefst een paar woorden Nederlands. De lekkere producten bij het ontbijt maakte het verblijf top. Volgende keer zeker terug met mijn vrouw en dan een kamer aan het terras/zwembad.”

“Breakfast was excellent, the only thing : they don't have a restaurant, how ever there is a cafeteria near by, with a real "Bad indigestion food" if you go there bring your "Pepto Bismol" with you.”

“Casa muy amplia con jardin. Familia acogedora y simpática que se esfuerza por el bienestar. Ofrecen desayunos caseros, solo dulces. Sugerencia: añadir algo salado (queso, jamón o embutido de la zona). Habitación muy amplia, aunque sin aire acondicionado, que afortunadamente no necesitamos porque los días que estuvimos bajó la ola de calor. Tranquilidad absoluta.”

“Es la segunda ves que estamos en el hotel y todo genial. Solo recomendaría actualizar la carta del restaurante que no ha varíado una coma en 2 años. ”
