"The views were amazing! The cabin was so cozy and peacful, it was a great place to go to really getaway but we were still pretty close to Asheville so it was remote but convenient. We would love to stay here again!"

"Have to agree with a previous review that it was “hair-raising” getting there, even in the daytime, but once you do it, it’s not so bad. The cabin is amazing with a total wrap around porch. It is very secluded and not for the faint of heart. The cabin is very well-appointed, clean and spacious. Very generous with blankets, towels, paper products, pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, etc. Even tho the temps dropped into the 20’s, the cabin was toasty warm with the heat set at 65 degrees - didnt even need a fire in the fireplace. Great place to decompress - if you want privacy or absolute peace and quiet, you’ve got it here. "

"Perfectly appointed cabin. Everything a hiker is looking for to get back to nature-- books on breathtaking hikes, walking sticks, backpack, and warm blankets to curl up under after a full day outside. The bed in the loft is extremely comfortable and host goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome. We will be back!"

"Wow, just WOW! Had an absolutely phenomenal time this past weekend at this cabin. From the beautiful decor, to the wood-burning fireplace, to the gorgeous view from the deck, it was all just perfect! Beds were super comfy, we loved the cozy blankets, and our walks were just perfect. Even the twin bunks were comfy! The gorgeous fall foliage was amazing. HIGHLY recommend. Can’t wait to come back next year "

"Our extended family of 8 had a fantastic long weekend at the lodge. The place has a great space to hang together by a fire - great kitchen to have snacks and easy to prepare meals. The space around the house was a lot of fun to walk around -- everyone had a great time. Even went to the around the corner golf club to have a nice sit down lunch. Very nice setup."
