The house is on a curve and you need to take caution pulling out though it is doable--if the neighbor on the Tenant's Harbor side would trim back bushes, it would no longer be an issue. Quiet, relaxed and convenient location.”

“The Kittredge, Enoch, and Bodwell cabins are all located in a former granite quarry on an island in Penobscot Bay. Our family group rented all three and loved it. The cabins have tons of character and arenset up with grills, picnic tables, full kitchen, laundry, towels for swimming in the spring fed quarry. You have to see it to believe it. ”

“This is a rambling, welcoming old building that is perfect for a family stay. Check-in is smooth, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc, wi fi was good. I must say it is not what I would call an easy walk from the ferry, so older people, little kids, and people with heavier luggage should be aware of this. Otherwise the house is really convenient to the stores and restaurants of Vinalhaven and have a great view of the water. The dining area is a real plus! There is also a downstairs……

“Six family members needed a place for a long weekend while attending a memorial service in Rockland and visiting Tenants Harbor. This house was perfect with 4 bedrooms and lots of space on the first floor. Although bedrooms are quite small, the beds were very comfortable and linens and towels all great quality. The upstairs bathroom, with the bedrooms, has a tub but not a shower, so just one shower on the first floor means good planning with 6 people!! Kitchen is large and well stocked and we……

This is the most beautiful and well taken care of property in which I’ve ever stayed. Everything is even better than this pictured in the advertisement. All of the construction, materials, and furniture are of high-quality, not the typical construction grade quality which we have typically experienced in most such rentals. The accommodations were great for our group - nice big kitchen to work in, plenty of space to hang out in, big back deck for dinners, and bedrooms simple but lovely. “We rented this house so we could enjoy a vacation with our daughter and her boyfriend, our son and DIL and 3 grandchildren, ages 5, 3 and 18 months. There were plenty of bedrooms and baths for us to all spread out. The 1st floor master and downstairs bathroom are amazing. The other bedrooms and bath I’m told were very comfortable.
