“We went for a 3 day weekend to run a trail race in Grayson Highlands state park. The house was a 30 minute drive from the park. Beautiful drive to the house and the park. We enjoyed resting at the house before and after our time at the park. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside reading.”

“Back to basics with enough modern essentials for a relaxing, rejuvenating time. Beautiful spot surrounded by trees and the soothing sound of running water from the creek. Spending time in the rocking chairs on the back porch just soaking in nature was fabulous and tranquil. Saw a fox, a deer, and a turtle... no bear sighting, which was fine by me! Had all windows open throughout the visit. Comfy bed, too! Will stay again!!”

“This was the perfect place for parents and grandparents to stay for VT Graduations! We were able to gather for multiple dinners, enjoys each others company and avoid the hustle and bustle around the campus traffic. We made some great memories during our short and sweet visit.”

“Comfortable little country home with a great hot tub. Nature views, animals coming through the back yard are always pleasing. We usually come in the fall, but it was great as well in the Spring. We bike the New River trail and look forward to coming “home” and relaxing afterwards. The outdoor furnishings need some work and windows and shades need some extra cleaning attention. That view from the expansive windows is a real eye-pleaser! We added an extra day to our stay. ”

“Eight siblings and one teen gathered for a week to fun, relaxation and reliving old memories from childhood. We laughed at ourselves and others!On July 5 neighbors provided us with at least an hour of beautiful fireworks that we watched from the patio. We couldn’t believe what a perfect view we had. Please thank them for us !”

“This home had plenty of room for the 5 adults that went on a quick 2 night getaway. We saw deer in the yard both mornings and sat outside in the evenings with drinks and just enjoyed the surroundings. The home has everything you could need for a comfortable stay.”

“Relaxing getaway, great condition house and beautiful views/pond/and a very cool donkey. Loved staying here.”

“This property was perfect for our party of 14. We had 8 adults and 6 kids from age 17 to 7. The house was very accommodating with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms & space to spread out and enjoy a variety of activities. The decor of the house is very interesting and lends to its uniqueness. Each bedroom/bathroom had plenty of room. The kitchen is spacious and has plenty of pots/pans/supplies to cook.The surroundings outside were beautiful and fun to explore. We hiked and hung out around the pond...
