Top Culloden Hotel Reviews
Loch Ness Drumnadrochit Hotel
"Very good place to stay."
Beaufort Hotel
"Staff were exceptionally helpful and fun. Highlight of our trip - Jonathan!!!"
The Glen Mhor Hotel and Uile-bheist Brewery & Distillery
"Bedroom was very spacious ("huge") and all the basics were there. The finishings in the bathroom seemed a bit tatty, and - it seems petty - but there were three different colours on the lightbulbs around the room, so not really coherently maintained. Would still stay again, though. Breakfast was great, if poorly stocked up."
Tulloch Castle Hotel
"We had an amazing stay in the huge Mackenzie suite. Really fantastic for our family of four."
Smithton Hotel
"Honestly, the friendliest and most courtious people I have dealt with in some time. We got in well past the check in time cut off, they arranged for someone to get our keys to us. Then, help get our luggage upstairs and were upset about the kitchen being closed and not being able to get us some dinner. The following morning, did not rush us out of our rooms and kept the kitchen open to make all of us breakfast to order. They were also extremely helpful with sights to see in the area. All four of us were from the US and are used to the "sorry about your luck" attitude common in the states . Thanks again for everything!"
The Royal Highland Hotel
"Old-World Highland Charm in a Fantastic Location The Royal Highland Hotel is superbly located literally steps from Inverness railway station, making it extremely convenient when travelling with luggage. The moment you enter, the magnificent staircase catches your attention, and the lobby has a cosy, old-world British charm that makes you feel as though you've stepped back in time. Check-in was simple and our third-floor room was spacious and comfortable, with a sitting area, writing desk, TV and kettle with tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size, with excellent shower pressure and a lovely heated towel rail. There is no refrigerator or apparent air-conditioning, although opening the window kept us comfortable. The old wooden floors also creak considerably. Our only maintenance issue was a slow-draining shower, which I mentioned at checkout. The location is excellent not only for the station but also for exploring Inverness. Restaurants, shops, the River Ness and Inverness Castle area are all within an easy walk. This is an older hotel, and that comes with a few quirks, but its history, character and location make it memorable. We would certainly consider staying again. Rating: 7.5–8/10."
B&B HOTEL Inverness
"What a great hotel! The whole staff team were fantastic- everyone was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is also particularly good for visitors with access needs - we stayed in an accessible room which was huge, the location is close to the train station & the bus station (for the sight seeing bus) as well as lots of restaurants and bars. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming up to Inverness."
Culloden House Hotel
"Fabulous! We loved staying at Culloden House. Our room was spacious, comfortable and lovely. The bathroom was spacious, luxurious and had lots of scented soaps, etc for our use. When we arrived early for our stay, our bags were taken up to our room us for us once it was ready. We came back later to find our room had been prepared for our evening with a nice turn down service. The hotel is very historic and reflects the importance of its place in the local history. We ate breakfast and one dinner there and the food was excellent and plentiful. The service staff was attentive, thoughtful and friendly. We walked around the Walled Garden one evening and were mesmerized by the beauty we found there. It is magical. Overall, this is ranks as a top 10 stay during our trip to Scotland."
Columba Hotel Inverness by Compass Hospitality
"Great location, historic building. Bar and breakfast were good. Could use some better upkeep."
