Top Strathpeffer Hotel Reviews
River Ness Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals
"The bed was extremely comfortable in the room the air conditioner was nice and cool. Kept us very chilly during the night didn’t turn off. the rooms and building was very clean. The staff was welcoming and kind and very helpful. Absolutely a lovely experience."
Inverness Palace Hotel & Spa, WorldHotels Distinctive
"The Palace hotel is an excellent location for walking around d Inverness and enjoying the river Ness. Restaurant and coffee shop are top notch and has all the amenities of a much later hotel. All Staff are friendly and courteous. I have been going for over 10 years and would recommend to anyone."
Columba Hotel Inverness by Compass Hospitality
"Location of the hotel is great. It is an old property but all said and done it came on the right side of the charming/ run down divide. Has been updated and does not feel old in most respects. The major drawback for me was very weak WiFi and a bare bones TV. For many, a large tub and good hot and cold water supply in addition to handheld shower and rain shower is going to be a plus.If you need a Laundry, a self serve and full service laundry is literally on the same block so that could be a major plus, as it was for us on a long trip through Highlands"
The Royal Highland Hotel
"Highly recommend this hotel. The location is fantastic next to the train station and centrally located to shops and restaurants. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful! High tea was a travellers delight! Fun to stay in such a historic building!"
Kingsmills Hotel
"The room was beautiful. Had a nice meal in the bar and the bartender gave my friend and me a great recommendation for some delicious Scottish whiskey from their hometown."
The Highland Hotel by Compass Hospitality
"Be sure to book ahead if you want to eat at the restaurant. Parking is out of premium. It’s a grand old place with a lot of history and close to a small village with a couple of restaurants which you should also reserve at. coaches full of seniors come here, so there’s a vibrant scene at the hotel bar"
The Retreat Hotel
"The ambiance of the property was fabulous. It is an old building and was charming. The main bed was comfortable BUT the futon's were actually chairs that folded out and they were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. There was no staff available. It was all contactless. The bar was the same no people. If you didn't have cell phone to use the QR code you could not get a drink. The breakfast if you didn't pay for it in advance was not available as expected. I found the place charming but unwelcoming. However the location was amazing."
Coul House Hotel
"Amazing daily breakfast and very hospitable staff. Beautiful grounds and great location. I would highly recommend staying here."
Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel
"We were here on vacation. The location was great, right by the river. The restaurant was good (they seem to dry-age their beef themselves). Staff very helpful, facility very clean. Only drawback, no elevator (which was only an issue with luggage, but staff offered to carry bags up for us). We'd happily come back."
