“It was a wonderful experience to return to Albany and to stay in a lovely, immaculate, well-maintained, spacious townhouse. Our host Earl saw to it that all our needs were met or exceeded. We enjoyed our family Christmas celebration. We went out for dinner on our first night and found excellent dining within five blocks of our accommodations. The entire experience captured the best of Albany’s vibrant diversity and charming beauty. ”

“Apartment is not in the best area with lots of noise. Beds are hard as a rock. Not much for kitchen utensils. Would not recommend ”

“The photos alone do not do this place justice! Walking into the home was a sight to see. Beautiful art as well as a great selection of books on display.The host was an incredible help to us as well! We had a last minute situation where us & 4 dogs needed a place to stay from early afternoon to later in the day. The host was able to assist us with both an early Check-in, as well as asking if we needed any accommodations and/or aid while settling in! I have many experiences using Vrbo & other……

“The apartment looks cute like it does in line but the smell was awful. It smelled like someone smoked in there for twenty years and it was musty. Had to open all the windows. The smell never left. The stairs are tilted to the left so was very nervous having my 80 year old mom on them. Tried to contact the host and was never answered. Called and there was no voicemail set up. The beds were comfortable but my niece slept on the very uncomfortable couch. There was no extra linens or blankets……

“Centrally located to downtown yet quiet and charming area. The neighborhood was a bit run down in some places but safe and friendly. Walking distance to everything. Easy on and off all freeways.”

“host faciliated entry to the unit succesfully. Upon arrival, the closet required repair, but the workman never came by (across 28 days of stay).”

“Host listed street parking only, however there was no street parking. It’s also in a rough part of town and I wasn’t going to make my family, baby, and dog trek multiple blocks. We had to make other accommodations and VRBO would not reimburse. Avoid property if possible.”
