“The view was amazing! Hot tub was super clean (needs a new lid) house was very clean! Owner was great to work with!The dock was further away than the pictures made it seem and it was not accessible to my husband who has a bad back bc it was very steep. But!! It had everything a family would I need to have lots of fun at the lake!”

“Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be……

“Fox Berry Hill is a lovely lakefront property. We stayed during an incredibly hot week. SUPPing on the lake made it much more enjoyable. Pros: Great AC and easily adjustableBed in master bedroom was super comfortableWater pressure was strongLake access was excellent. Easy to take paddle boards down to lake via ramp, moreso than steps.Kitchen had great supplies overall, easy to cook and prep food. “We had a wonderful 4 weeks. The house was very comfortable especially the beds! All though the weather was unseasonably hot (so we were told), the air conditioning kept the house cool.We had a couple of glitches but they were all solved with a text to the owner. We very much enjoyed the daily visits from the deer, the gray squirrels and the various birds. We fell in love with the area and added some great new friends. ”

“We absolutely loved everything about the Barge Inn. A lovely place at a beautiful location. The golf cart was definitely a huge help since we spent a lot of time at the beach and we stayed as a family of 7. The owners are very attentive and always strive to make your stay the best possible. We loved the porch and the overall feel of the house, everything was very clean. The Internet was fast and the kitchen is well equipped! I even baked a birthday cake there ! 10/10 recommend ”

“This tiny home was perfect for my weeklong stay. The space was well-furnished with everything I needed, and kitchen was especially well-furnished. The bed was comfortable, and the space appointed with a large screen tv. I enjoyed a few nights at the fire pit in the yard adjacent to the unit. The unit is also only blocks away from the Kentucky River and beautiful sunsets. Donna was very responsive to my questions and needs. I will definitely be back! ”

“We came down for an anniversary trip, my husband myself and our two girls (8 &4). We had the best time! We swam off the dock for a bit then went to Murray and over to Tennessee. We only came down for the weekend but we loved the little house so much. Our girls didn’t want to leave and neither did we. We plan to come back for a longer stay soon! Absolutely loved this little house! ”
