“Got there with 3 hot and tired children (long car journey) and my 70 year old mum only to find theyd cancelled our booking. I received no communication of this. My booking and payment had been confirmed. I even received an email the next morning to see how our stay was going and another asking us to rate our stay. We booked through hotels.com and still trying to get to the bottom of what happened. We ended up in a quadruple room in the Travel lodge (at our own expense) this was not the family……

“We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The location was excellent, even though there are 120 steps to get upto the apartment. But the views are well worth it. We chose the location for the history in the town and to be close to the Severn Valley Railway. The apartment was well equipped, with everything you needed. One thing I would suggest and that is to have more hanging facilities for clothes in the bedrooms. It was fine for 3 nights, but if you were there longer, you would need somewhere to put……
