The hotel is walking distance from the Victoria memorial and the metro station on the blue line. It is however regrettable that maintenance falls behind in places which is unfortunately a let down in a hotel of its class. "

"There isn’t much negative things to say about this hotel if any. 5* isn’t enough, needs to be more. Great location, lovely staff, great food, the the room is of the highest quality. I can not recommend this hotel for your stay more. The spa is also great, gym was perfect with Subhojit providing great PT. Everything about the room is perfect, be it the amenities, the bed, the shower. It all just works perfect. "

"LaLiT is a historic building, near the colonial seat of power when Calcutta was the capital of the British Raj. The traffic around the hotel is chaotic, not to mention crowded. But the staff were wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again when we are next in Kolkata."
