🥘 Eats Nearby: Enjoy farm-to-table meals at The Switch BBQ & Craft House, casual bites at Abby Jane Bakeshop (next to Barton Springs Mill), or head into downtown Dripping Springs for spots like Oak Creek Café and Rolling in Thyme & Dough.

Other Things to Note:
Lodgewell, as the management company, will email a separate reservation agreement to your personal email for digital signature. This agreement is in addition to the standard platform terms, and outlines property-specific rules and expectations set by the homeowner. If you'd like to review it in advance, just let us know — we're happy to send you a copy.
THE ROAD - The last stretch of road to the property is an unpaved, caliche road. SUV or truck is great but not necessary.
PHONE SIGNAL - There is none!
WIFI - There is limited satellite wifi dependent on the weather.
RAIN - A traditional tipi has a large opening at the top. There is no way to seal the tipi completely and it is possible that drop of water will enter.
AC - During the hotter months, the portable systems in the tipis and tents have a hard time keeping up with the heat and better function once the day begins to cool off. They will only cool 20 degrees below actual temp.
WEAR & TEAR - Canvas may have some dirt, mold stains, rips, and or tears.
DARK SKIES - Pack a flashlight or headlamp to maneuver around after dark.
PETS - A pet agreement must be signed and a pet fee will be charged separately after booking ($25 per pet).
KIDS - We have not done any child proofing. The experience is similar to a camping experience at a park. Gravel paths, wildlife encounters, etc. We leave it up to parents to decide if their little ones are equipped for this adventure.
LIABILITY WAIVER - By booking, you acknowledge that you are staying at your own risk and that certain risks come with being in a rural environment — including staying in a tipi, interacting with nature, and outdoor activities.
You accept full responsibility for any accidents or injuries, and agree to hold the owner and management harmless. Risks may be greater for those with health conditions, those who are pregnant, under the influence, or impaired in any way.
By booking, you and your party accept and understand these risks and agree to waive any claims against the property owner and manager.
Interaction with Guests:
You will have the entire stargazer to yourself.
We use a simple self-check-in / check-out method.
