Neidin is Irish for “little nest in the mountains” and this modern home gives the feeling of living outdoors with many large windows, views and natural light. At the same time it has all the interior comforts and beauty of wood floors, new beds, full baths, and a large state of the art kitchen. Enjoy roadside mountain views and sunsets while lounging at the kitchen island or grilling on the deck. A separate deck, backyard and fire pit above the ravine allow for more privacy and serenity. Outstanding property in a great area

The rental process was easy and quick. The property was outstanding. We only had two of us so there was plenty of room. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. The appliances are really good. The oven preheated quickly, and the stove has a griddle for pancakes. The refrigerator sounds a tone if you leave a door open even sightly. The ice maker works well. We even got a chance to use the grill once. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of drawer and closet space. We enjoyed watching TV in the basement and ate many of our meals there. The floor heating system worked well though it was a little hard to get it set just right. We enjoyed the small stream behind the house and the woods. The East Burke area was fun and had what we needed. We were conveniently located for day trips to Canada, the White and Green Mountains, even a long day to the Maine coast. Amy, the owner, was available by email or text whenever we needed her, though there was little need for help. And don't miss Auntie Dee Dee's Cinnamon rolls on weekends. Oh my goodness they are great!
