It just has a wonderful vibe and so many amenities...from the retro kitchen to the movie room and then the game room? Perfection! “As a lover of architecture, it scratched the itch to stay in a historic mansion. Like much of Richmond, IL, this house was many decades past its prime, witnessed by the broken car parked out front and the 70's apartment complex that overlooks its backyard. The home has tons of space and some beautiful original features, but you have to balance them with the broken, mismatched thrift store furniture, the challenging lack of outlets/strangely placed switches and dusty old curtains some on broken……

“My patents were celebrating their 64 year anniversary. We wanted to celebrate with a short trip and this was the perfect location. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the walk in the woods and fishing. The covered wagon was a unique stay and one we will remember.”
