"This is a very old house, with old furniture - it is well kept. It has a new clothes washer and dishwasher. The clothes washer leaked under the sink, and the owner came to try to fix it. "Great reasonably priced place to stay. Really nice staff. Breakfast was fine - a nice tray is provided to carry it to your table. There is a grill restaurant around the corner. Convenient place to stay if you are travelling - good parking with fast chargers if you have an electric car - when we were there there seemed good availability of these."

"The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Our apartment was very comfortable and clean. Our balcony gave us a view of a lovely forest, st Jean de Luz and the sea. The pool was perfect for us. Plenty of seating around the pool. The grounds of Villa Maldagora were very pleasant and well maintained. We enjoyed using the table tennis and borrowing the board games. Being able to order bread and pastries each day was great as the nearest shop is 15 minutes walk away. A car would have been useful but the local us service stops just outside the complex and runs every 30 minutes into the town. We had a very restful and enjoyable week."
