4 bedrooms, 3 baths + an outdoor shower.
Plenty of room to spread out.
2 king bedrooms with ensuite baths, 1 queen bedroom & 2 twin beds.
There are 2 entrances - through the carport where a 2nd refrigerator is located for your extra drinks & food provision.
Take the main entrance through the left side deck that will take you directly to the lower level where 3 of the 4 bedrooms are conveniently located to drop off your luggage.
1st bedroom has 2 twin beds.
2nd bedroom has a queen bed.
The primary king bedroom with ensuite bath & a private deck with ocean view is also in the lower level.
The hallway bathroom, shared by the queen & 2-twin beds room, washer & dryer are all in this level.
The 2nd king bedroom with an ensuite bath, living room, dining room & a well-equipped kitchen are in the top floor.
There is a ceiling fan, TV/streaming and DVD player in every bedroom.
All 4 bedrooms have blackout curtains for a good night sleep.
The living & dining rooms are bright & airy with plenty of seating, a 55" flat screen TV with blue ray player.
The kitchen has granite counter tops, white cabinets & stainless steel appliances. It is fully equipped with a variety of small appliances including a 2-in-1 twelve-cup brewer & a Keurig single serve coffeemaker, a blender, a slow cooker to start your meal while you're out enjoying the sun & sea.
There's an assortment of spices & condiments for your home-cooked meals.
High speed internet & cable TV with streaming throughout.
2 beach accesses are located right across the street approximately 50 steps away.
Beach chairs, a beach cart & beach toys are available for your use.
An outdoor shower for rinsing yourself & the pup.
There is a basketball hoop, volleyball court, corn hole set, a large gas grill &
a picnic table.
We don't guarantee gas for the grill but cylinder available for exchange if needed.
Coffee pods, toilet paper & paper towel are provided to get you through the beginning of your stay but not provided for the entire length of your stay.
Indoor entertainment includes a DVD library, games & books.
The house is in a quiet residential area, yet less than 3 miles to town.
Emerald Isle is bike friendly with a path that runs the length of the island.
The house is conveniently located near highly-rated restaurants, two supermarkets, shops, a public boat ramp & Bogue Inlet Pier.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IN THE HOUSE or illegal drug use on property.
OCCUPANCY IS FOR 8 PEOPLE MAX. An additional $150 will be charged for each unauthorized guest per night or will result in immediate eviction without refunds.
We are dog friendly. A vacuum cleaner & a broom are provided for your convenience for dog hair clean up.
2 dogs maximum stay for free. Insurance liability restricts the following breeds of dog: German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Wolf hybrids & other aggressive breeds.
Sorry, strictly NO CATS. We have severe allergy to cats.
All towels & sheets are included in your stay with no extra charge.
Beds are already made when you arrive.
WE DO NOT RENT TO COLLEGE STUDENTS, FRATERNITY & THE LIKE.

Wonderful Family Trip

This place is perfect. Nice views of the ocean for being one row back. Plenty of space to spread out. Love the tall Adirondack Chairs with built in tables on the upper deck. Very convenient to public beach access. Have stayed here before and will come again...

Great 2nd row location, best stocked place ever, tasteful, dog friendly furnishings; responsive hosts (we lost internet service for a few minutes). Every thing was as it was purported to be in the listing. Lots of steps for Grammy and Poppy.

We stayed for spring break and had a wonderful experience. From the start Anne was very helpful with questions about Emerald Isle, restaurant recommendations, bike rentals and more. The house was perfect and had everything that we needed. Our dog's favorite spot was laying on the upper deck!

Perfect week in Emerald Isle

A very well appointed home in the best location. Such an easy quick walk to the beach and no crowds! This was our first visit to Emerald Isle and we will definitely be back. Every bit of the reservation, communication, and house rental was easy. We even appreciated a change of dates earlier in the year to accommodate family members. Loved the big outdoor shower, the ease of having beds already made on day 1, and the very comfortable beds! Thanks for a great week!

Amazing Beach Trip

The view of beach was great. Was very short walk to the beach. We found a number of shells and the guys had good luck fishing. We built many sand castles and road the great waves . We took our own chairs but there were chairs available if needed!! The living space was awesome for our family of 7 and our dog Cody too. The kitchen was well stocked as we ate all our meals in. It was great that the linens and towels were included and that we had enough to trade out towels at mid week with fresh set. The hammock was a nice added extra and we were glad to have chairs on the decks to use. Mary Ann and Scott were great host who care and communicated to make sure all was well with our needs and stay. The place met all our expectations and more. We definitely hope it works out that we can return again next year!!

Fabulous and Flawless EI Beach Stay

Hands down one of the best vacation rentals and experiences we've had in over a decade of VRBO experiences. Seamless and consistent communication with hosts before and during stay so we were well prepared and well taken care of throughout. We had two littles, two grandparents, two parents, and one dog, and each person (and pup) had their own space, bathrooms, and room to play/rest, while we all shared the well appointed kitchen, decks/outdoor spaces, indoor living spaces, laundry in comfort and style. The beach access can't be beat, just a quick walk across the street to the sandy access beach path (with a boardwalk/boarded path just down the block if walking through sand is tough on older guests). Beach was beautiful with ample space to plant our family and spread out for the day. Town, grocery stores, shops, food options (including a great fish market), all needed amenities all within 10 minutes up or down the road. We never left the island and had an incredible week filled with beach time every day, rest time at home, and wonderful home cooked (and grilled) meals of fresh caught fish, seafood, steaks, and veggies. We loved every moment of our stay and Mary Ann and Scott were perfectly gracious and supportive hosts. Perfect generational beach stay and a wonderful way to wind down our summer and get ready for the school year! Thank you Mary Ann and Scott and we hope to see you again next summer - we love EI and your lovely home!

Great property, even better hosts!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beach home and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from the beach, with stunning ocean views that we could enjoy right from our balcony. The walkway to the beach is even closer than it appears in the pictures. The beach house itself is beautifully decorated with a coastal theme, featuring a spacious, light-filled open-concept living area and a well-equipped kitchen that made meal preparation a breeze. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after our beach adventures. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor space, including the shower which was especially helpful in getting our kiddos clean after the beach. The best part about renting this home though, was the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, allowing us to check in early to evacuate from Hurricane Milton, for which we are so grateful. Their kindness didn’t stop there; they even surprised us with a delightful birthday cake for my son and husband, making their special day truly memorable. Overall, this home is a true gem! It has everything you need for a memorable beach experience. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely beautiful!

This may have been the nicest, cleanest, most well equipped beach home we have ever rented. Perfect location with ocean views from the deck and just steps to what felt like our own private beach. Mary Ann and Scott were such gracious hosts and they literally thought of everything. From the ceiling fans and tvs in every room to the 2nd refrigerator near the outdoor shower. This place had it all! There were spices in the kitchen cabinet along with extra trash bags, dishwasher detergent and even plastic containers for leftovers - a rare find. Very cozy and beautifully decorated as well. We especially loved the captain’s chairs with connected tables on the deck for our morning coffee. 🙂 This home exceeded our expectations! Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful beach house!

Very nice house. Very comfortably furnished and thoughtfully supplied. The owners have obviously thought carefully about what vacationers will want while staying there. It’s just a short walk to the beach. Morning and evenings on the top deck are wonderful.

!! PERFECT SOLICE !!

Well appointed, great location and peaceful with fabulous double deck views! As a whole, this residence is complete with everything! The owners are extremely accessible, attentive and very helpful. The cleaning crew is friendly and responsive ~ we made one call in need of a filter for the fridge / ice maker & it was answered promptly. Kitchen, dining and living area provides a wonderful gathering spot. Bedrooms are setup to provide privacy ~ very comfortable and decorated perfectly for a stay at the coast! A short walk through the "magical forest" opens up to dunes and white beach sand! Upon return, the outdoor hot / cold shower is a gift. Definitely a great choice!!

Great Thanksgiving Stay w/Family

My family and I (Wife, Dog, and Both sets of Parents) rented Mary Ann and Scotts beach house for Thanksgiving this year. We had a wonderful time celebrating the holiday all together under the same roof in Emerald Isle. The house was perfect and had all the items we needed to celebrate our Thanksgiving. Plenty of space for everyone and convenient access to the beach (right across the street). We would highly recommend this property for your family vacation during the holiday or just a trip to Emerald Isle in general.

Fantastic Beach House

Beautiful Home and Location

We like everything about this beach house. We are already planning on renting again next year. The location is right across the street from the beach access point and is a short drive to the grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment. And it’s far enough away for peace and quiet. The home has everything we need, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, an extra refrigerator great AC, and water pressure. We spent every morning drinking coffee on the deck. Very relaxing. The owner left sparking wine and a nice birthday card for my wife. That was really thoughtful. So yeah, the owner is great too!
