Here you can experience peaceful and quiet evenings, relaxing by the fire pit, fishing out of the acre pond or just sit by the water and enjoy a fire on the dock in the chimina. You are 5 minutes from the quaint town of Emory where you will find restaurants, shopping, and supermarkets. You are 10 minutes from Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni where there’s great fishing, 20 minutes from Canton’s historical First Monday and 25 minutes away from the charming town of Sulphur Springs. Loved sitting on the dock in the morning taking in the sounds and sights of nature. Very peaceful and serene. Came with a friend to attend Canton Trade Days. There were some issues with the Wifi during our stay, but apparently the issue was area-wide. It was located very conveniently to the events we attended in the Emory area. Although it’s close to the main house, it felt private as we didn’t see anyone else during our stay. The property is beautiful.
