“I immediately noticed a strong mildew/mold odor upon arrival. We adjusted the AC and left for dinner - figuring it would help. Upon returning at 8:30 I decided to ask the front desk for a new room- they were booked so that wasn’t an option for us. They offered us two choices - I could either have a dehumidifier placed in the room or find another hotel if I didn’t feel comfortable due to my allergies. Based on it being 8:30 at night and busy season I didn’t feel like I had a choice other than……

“The room was clean but the rooms were outdated. I like antique furniture but the dresser wouldn't open, the tub was not conducive for anyone with disabilities. If you were overweight or over 6 ft, you would not be able to turn in the shower.”

“Two main concerns: Pillows were so tall and so firm that it was impossible to sleep on them, so we folded a blanket and a bed cover to make a replacement. And the toilet bowl was not clean, so we tried not to look too hard. Also water wasn’t draining properly. Besides that it was a good and a quiet location.”

“Everything was as expected. Everything was well maintained. The only thing that could be better is breakfast and the noise level of other occupants when they were using water. Well worth the price paid. It was a great centralized location in Door County.”

“It was fine, but our room was right by the fitness center on one side so we heard noises whenever people went in, in the swimming pool was right outside her room. Property is right next to the road, so that means it can be very noisy for breakfast. If you go to the next door, restaurant, or sit by the harbor or are even in the pool. It's an older property, well maintained but some odd features”
