"Adega Velha was a perfect place for the two of us while we explored Pico. Although it is a very small house, it was impeccably clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Everything you could imagine needing was there, tidily tucked in to its own appointed space. The view from the house is exceptional, and we found the quiet location so charming and restful. "We loved this Adega and were so sad to leave! The house is lovely and well appointed. It is so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the waves from the porch. We really appreciated the washer and dryer! There is a nearby natural pool with bathroom and shower facilities that we had to ourselves. About 1 mile down the road is a little store that manages to stock anything you could want. We went each morning for coffee and pastry that we enjoyed with a view of the ocean. Pico is small enough that this location worked very well for exploring the island. "
