Good stay on Falls Creek! The whole team of Anne are friendly and helpful ! Thanks for accommodating us! Love the location, it’s close to the shuttle bus stop, convenient for going anywhere in the village. The foods are great both for breakfast and dinner. It’s good to have spa and sauna for relaxation after skiing. They provide free washing and drying machines. We met with the rainy weather, used the dry room for hanging all the wet clothes. Hope to stay again!
Spent the first 5 days of our 3 weeks skiing at Falls Creek on the mountain at Summit Ridge as a special treat. So glad we did as this is a very nice hotel with a fabulous restaurant. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and professional. We hope to be back here again next year.
The summit is a small lodge near the number six shuttle stop. Rooms are small but equipped. It is a family lodge so be prepared for some noise from the rooms.
We had a great week of snowboarding in July 2025. The double room was big enough and modern - with a good bed and excellent bathroom. The breakfast good and dinner excellent. The location of the lodge is perfect: you can literally ski down to the lift and a track of the piste takes you to 20m from the lodge. Ski room and drying room are spacious and a washer/dryer for guest use was very welcome.
We as a group of 7 had a wonderful stay at Summit Ridge. Ann and Keith are excellent hosts, who genuinely care for the comfort of your stay. The lodge appears recently renovated, with no detail spared in the rooms - from hooks to hang your jackets, to dressing gowns to wear to the spa downstairs. The dinner in the restaurant was top-notch, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses of quality fare and a very good wine list. Summit Ridge is conveniently located between Village Bowl and Slalom Plaza; would be ski in/out with enough snow cover; plus has the shuttle stop no6 right outside. There is also Central Snowsports rental opposite if you need to hire gear. We can't wait to come back!
Good location with ski shuttle stop just outside the front for seasons where ski in ski out is limited by inadequate snow cover. Also very close to Central Snowsports for ski hire (with another branch at the base of Halley’s Comet chairlift where you can store your skis if needed).
The proprietors were very friendly and welcoming. The property was well looked after and updated. There was a cosy feeling with the place, which was excellent. The restaurant is possibly the best dining venue in Falls Creek! Amazing! Would recommend to anyone
This was our second stay at Summit Ridge and we had absolutely no complaints at all. Although both of us had miserable health issues during our stay the accommodation and attention from Anne and Keith was first class. Already planning our return next year.
the amazingly friendly staff and owners who always had a smile and a positive outlook. The dinning was amazing . The room was sparkling clean. The Summit ridge alpine lodge was such a lovely place to return to after each of our adventures.
Many thanks to you all
Room had a great view. TV wasn't so good because data had to be downloaded every 5-15 minutes interrupting viewing. Fine restaurant and good breakfast. Helpful staff. No microwave or knives and forks.
This was the first time for us to stay at Falls Creek in Summer. We found Summit Ridge to be a great base to stay in the high country for a few days. The only thing we didn't consider was the lack of fans/air cons in the rooms. This would be something I'd want next time. Everything else was great.
Generally a good stay and perfect for those who wants value-for-money accommodation. The room was clean so that's a plus point. Room and the ensuite were warm throughout our stay so that's good during winter.
Location was somewhat away from the lift area (10 mins walk) but you could easily ski down or catch a free shuttle. Arranging for ATS (luggage transfer) is a must unless you want a good work out.
Walls somewhat thin so you can hear your neighbors if they're too loud at night.
Saving tip: Have one of your mate on the ATS to carry the bags (2 luggage limit) while the rest can take the free shuttle (to stop 6) to save yourself ~$50 on a return trip.
Great friendly feel. In a great ski in ski out location. Great value for money. Great food at the restaurant

Great food, but rooms are average
Anne was a lovely host and went out of her way to help us. Dinner was really amazing. We went with a baby and was put in a room which had a bad/stale smell of spices. Unfortunately after complaining, not much was done about it and we figured it would be better for us to leave the windows open and suffer the cold then to put up with the smell!
