"Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. "The location was ideal as we were attending a family wedding at the barns so very short staggering distance. Compact but cosy, comfy bed and all equipment that you might need for a short stay. Nice seating area outside to enjoy your morning coffee. Wouldn't say it was peaceful but then we live in the countryside where we only get the occasional tractor and few cars so the constant hum of traffic was loud to us. It didn't disturb our sleep though.Steps up to cabin are steep and narrow so care...

Top Farthinghoe Hotel Reviews

Whately Hall

Whately Hall

8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a handy central location in the town, with plenty of easy parking. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed drinks and tea in the lounge/bar area. The room was a reasonable size, but allowing space just for a smaller double bed. The en Suite bathroom was fine, except for a broken toilet seat. Breakfast in the spacious dining room was pleasant, with a good choice of continental and cooked items. Overall a good place to stay."
