"Very clean and amply stocked with listed amenitie, including full kitchen. Comfortable living space that stays cool in the summer heat without ac. A nice retreat after long day hiking, swimming in Spanish Creek and exploring the area. Great location in downtown Quincy yet, up a side street in the neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. The deck and yard are unkept and not inviting so this cottage lacks outdoor space to retreat to and enjoy. Otherwise, charming and clean with Quincy specific decor...

"Beautiful family cabin with a view of Lake Almanor. We enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets over the lake while sitting on the deck. Spacious, clean and well appointed with all the kitchen items you'd need. The cabin is in a quiet area, not far from Chester and easy access to the lake. "The consensus of our entire group (three adults) was that the house exceeded our expectations. The property is located in a delightful rural area but close enough to town to access the grocery store and restaurants. One member of our group was attending a convention at the Feather Falls Casino and it was an easy drive back and forth. We enjoyed evening walks to the trailhead parking lot and a day walk on the Brad Freeman Trail to the train tunnel. The house is comfortable and is well stocked...

"The home was large and spacious and it met our accomodation needs. I loved the large, beautiful, shady front yard. We didn't feel comfortable using the back yard since people lived right there. Parking on the street was a bit difficult on the long weekend. Lots of others cars we parked on the street. Overall it was what I had hoped for."
