“Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. ”

“What a great spot to stay in SLO. Cozy and snug with everything you need. My son lives in SLO and the cottage was 5 minutes from his house. It made it so handy to visit. But it also gave us a spot to get away to to rest up.The historical aspect of the property is fun and interesting.The hosts (Nancy/Jessica) were so easy to deal with and so helpful.We will definitely return to the DeSolina Cottage.”

“It’s a great location and views. Bonfire was fun, and we walked over the bridge to ten mile beach. My only criticism would be that there were ants everywhere. We were cleaning them off counters, furniture and even in the bed. Bring your own water too. But it was a fun little place to stay in overall!”

We took hours long walks on the beach and, yes, we climbed those stairs each day (but only once LOL). WE all agreed we'd book this place again.”

Hosts were easy to contact prior. Amenities were basic yet sufficient. If you rent the smaller cottage, it has a tiny shower definitely not for the big guys in your group. ”

Access to Yosemite was good and the price was a little bit cheaper than places close to the park. We were biking up the canyon to Yosemite so we wanted a place at the bottom so this worked perfectly.”
