"Staff was rude and room smelled bad. Good location but attitude and comfort must be improved. The view of the mountain was also not really a view (looked directly at another hotel, with only a sliver of a view) and sauna was not always available to use, so the advertising was somewhat false. "

"We stayed here for one night. It was fine for a one day stay. The furnishing and carpeting are somewhat worn but it was clean. We were not there long enough to use any appliances other than the refrigerator, which worked fine. The location itself is so-so. it is very close to the rodelbahn and some nice hikes but the views from the property itself are rather limited. The neighbors have big old rusted boiler (or something like that) in the front yard so not super attractive immediate surrounding. There were two issues we ran into. One was communication with the owner - I don't think this was the owner's fault as they tried to respond but this was not working through VRBOs APP very well. This may have been a VRBO issue. I did find the owners communications in my direct email eventually - but going through the VRBO APP did not work well for this property. The second surprise was the requirement to pay in cash - we scraped together every penny we had (and had to borrow from our kids) but did manage to just cover the entire cost. I would say if you just need a place to stay for a night (and you bring cash) - this is fine. For a longer stay it would not seem so attractive."
