Criticisms were minor: a little detritus (possibly dog hair?) on the floor on arrival; a broken toilet roll holder; a bed sheet that was too small for the mattress. “A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Christina was a a welcoming and brilliant host and it’s clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into the cottage which has everything you’d need but more than that has some great touches to make it extra special. The village is quiet and peaceful with lovely walks and pubs nearby and is situated in an ideal place for visiting lots of sights and experiences of Suffolk. All-in-all, we couldn’t recommend Potts Cottage enough. We’ll certainly be back!……

“Nice place to stay for our short break with outside seating area at the rear which was welcome as it was very hot weather and it was far too hot in the house with no air conditioning or fan provided. We had taken a fan with us ourselves which we needed on both floors if the house. Lots of wasps/insects entering the house due to the weather. Can accommodate babies and pets too. Well equipped apart from no hairdryer. House looked a different colour (darker) from the website, so difficult to find. ”

“The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We were met by the owner, Mark, on arrival, who was very welcoming. He provided lots of local information, including walks and pubs marked on an OS map. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There are several properties here, but all wirh separate entrances and outside seatinf areas so they feel private. It was a great base for a few days in the Suffolk countryside. ”

“We (family of 4 with 2 small children) had a lovely stay at this cottage! Very friendly landlord and beautiful welcome package. Basic amenities to get you started straight after arrival like tea, suggar, milk, bread. Ideally situated in a quiet area with horse paddock right next to the cottage. Underfloor heating was very cozy, modern cooking area.”
