Firsby curve. The railway at Firsby once had a junction to the north for Grimsby and Cleethorpes, to the west for Spilsby, to the east for Skegness and to the south for Boston. Only the line from Boston to Skegness remains. The junction (seen here) has a famous curve (known to railway buffs) that almost turns back on itself.

Despite being situated in a central location our room was very quiet room and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating.
