Cosy home away from home

Everything was as described. Directions to the property were very clear. Check-in was easy and the property manager who greeted us and the owner who arrived the second day of our stay were both very kind. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and provided linens were clean. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals and was clean on arrival. Spiderwebs were abundant throughout the house which is the only reason I can’t give 5 stars for cleanliness, however, this is as expected for a farmhouse and didn’t really bother us at all. We enjoyed our stay very much despite the rainy weather, which limited our ability to fully enjoy the garden. The location was very convenient to visit multiple beautiful chateaux in the region. Our children loved the two loft areas for sleeping and relaxing. We enjoyed seeing deer each evening we returned and even saw a sounder of boar run through the field at dusk one night. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I was in the area.

mooi huis en omgeving, maar heel warm

We hebben genoten van onze vakantie en de vakantiewoning. Het is een fijne en goed ingerichte woning, in een hele stille en mooie omgeving. We hebben de eerste dagen mooie fietstochten kunnen maken, maar daarna werd het veel te warm. We dachten een vakantiewoning met airconditioning gehuurd te hebben, maar dat betrof een kleine mobiele unit op één van de slaapkamers bovenin de woning. Daarom zijn we eerder vertrokken dan gepland.

Séjour pittoresque en pleine nature

Séjour formidable dans un gîte charmant et chaleureux où l'on se sent très vite chez soi. Entouré de nature nous pouvons jouer au ping pong, badminton et faire des tours en vélo. L'endroit en plus est très bien situé pour visiter les châteaux et le zoo de Beauval.Une adresse que nous n'oublierons pas et nous n'hésiterons pas à en parler autour de nous.A l'année prochaine !

séjour très agréable hébergement dans le calme et la tranquillité.La proximité de châteaux, de forets et du zoo de Beauval nous ont permis de faire de belles visites.Durant notre séjour, nous avons eu l'agréable surprise de voir à plusieurs reprises la présence de biches dans le pré voisinant le gite

Très bon séjour

Idéalement placé entre Cheverny et Chambord, le gîte était bien adapté à notre court séjour (3 nuitées). Calme absolu, bien équipé, nous avons même eu la chance de voir 2 biches paître dans la prairie qui jouxte la maison. Les 2 chambres d'étage ont un accès "raide" et assez bas de plafond, donc à privilégier pour des enfants. Nos petits-enfants ont adoré le côté "cabane" selon eux de la mezzanine. La 2ème télévision dans la chambre du bas a permis de les laisser choisir cette mezzanine non isolée (autre que par un rideau) de l'espace de vie du séjour en bas plutôt que l'autre chambre. Nous avons été autorisés à accéder au gîte puis en repartir selon des horaires à notre convenance en suivant la procédure indiquée qui a parfaitement fonctionné; une bouteille nous a même été offerte ! Merci ! Les propriétaires étant absents en cette période de congés scolaires, nous ne les avons pas rencontrés.

Une moment familial privilégié

Nous avons passé un séjour en famille très agréable grâce à ce gîte. L'accueil a été optimal, le gîte est parfaitement équipé, les espaces extérieurs sont parfaits, les alentours paisibles. Nous étions tout proche du château de Chambord notamment et pas très loin de Blois. Un moment vraiment détente dans un cadre parfait.

Nature et calme dans un gîte très cosy

Le gîte a un emplacement idéal : au coeur de la campagne/forêt tout en étant à proximité des commodités et des lieux à visiter (châteaux, caves…). Le gîte très paisible est propice au repos et à la déconnexion. Son aménagement est très fonctionnel tout en étant charmant. Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Madame Sol. Toute la famille s’y est beaucoup plu. La semaine est passée trop vite!

Perfect cottage in the Loire

We really enjoyed our stay in Fontaines-en-Sologne. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need and also has a barn area with a table tennis table, badminton and boules which we enjoyed playing. The gite is in a really peaceful location but it is close enough to the village and attractions. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Chambord natural swimming pool so would highly recommend this on a hot day. We also visited Beauval Zoo and Cheverny Chateau which were both excellent. Both Mme Louchard and Marie Claude were very welcoming and were easy to communicate with. We would definitely return!

Endroit à recommander

Magnifique petite maison perdue dans les bois, entourée de prairies sauvages, elle bénéficie d'une quiétude olympienne. Idéalement située (15 min de Chambord et de Blois), on rayonne facilement vers tous les châteaux de la région mais aussi vers des villes qui valent la découverte (Blois surtout). N'hésitez pas.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Völlig ruhige Lage. Die Gastgeberin wohnt im Nachbarhaus und war unaufdringlich freundlich. Kostenlose Nutzund von 3 Fahrrädern möglich, mit denen wir zu Schloss Chambord fuhren. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Lediglich die akustische Isolierung zwischen dem oberen und unteren Schlafzimmer ist gemessen an deutschen Standards etwas kärglich. Aber wir werden das Haus sicher weiterempfehlen an Freunde und Bekannte.
