“It was so nice! The house was spotless and it had all the modern comforts you would expect. The views around the property were breath taking. The NIGHT SKY! wow. We sat on the deck loungers at night. It was the first time my kids got to see the milky way and so many satellites zooming by we lost count. “This large house was well furnished and had everything we needed for our brief stay. It is centrally located for visiting all three units of the John Day Fossils Beds National Monument.The sky is very dark at night and excellent for star gazing. They house even has a small telescope!. Unfortunately for us, the second night sky was obscured by the Cram Fire way to the north. ”
