"A tale of two stories…. Our first night/breakfast absolutely fabulous service. The room is very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep… sun loungers round the pool less so. Second night we had the tasting menu… amazing… but the only thing our (admittedly fussy10 yr old daughter) would eat was the margarita pizza (at €22 of which she ate less than half) seemed expensive. Our second breakfast was by comparison inadequate, absolute lack of service, no glasses for the juice/water, an a la cate...

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had the best stay! Our favorite part was the breakfast! It is family run and they were very welcoming and hospitable. The room was clean and fit our needs great. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is a great base if you are traveling to other cities around the area. "

"We had a wonderful stay at DDO Relais, Pinato and her husband home. They were very welcoming and their house was stylishly designed, lovely large cool rooms, gorgeous spa and pool area. Excellent spread of sweet pastries at breakfast. "

"When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. "

"Excellent stay in a remote place that requires a car. As the hotel has no permanent receptionist you have to contact them in advance in order to get your entry code that works for the main gate and all the doors you need to open. Breakfast is very basic with tea / coffee and sugary things and you will have to travel around for a decent restaurant. Parking is next to the hotel. Many attractions in your driving range. "

"Great modern apartment, huge sunny balcony, excellent location close to many bars and restaurants. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of sweet or savoury. The outdoor pool doesn’t open until 1st May but that wasn’t an issue for us. The hotel shuttle was really efficient and only took 10 mins to get to the apartment. Alessandro was really helpful."

"There are a couple of areas where this property falls short. Firstly it advertises parking but there is no parking, you are taking your chances on a very busy downtown street. You get charged another 10 euro a day if you dare to use the air conditioning and it must be in cash. Half a small pottle of yogurt each for breakfast is a touch inadequate. However the rooms are clean, tiny but clean. "

"Excellent property located right in the middle of the historical center, the shopping district and steps from the boardwalk. The reception staff at Hotel Orientale are super friendly and efficient in expediting the check in for Palazzo Bellocchi which is located hop away. Our junior suite was spacious, with plenty of closet space, a furnished kitchen corner and a jacuzzi in the bedroom. "Antonello was an excellent host .. very thoughtful; good breakfast (cappuccinos); parking was great; it felt very safe / secure. Easy access to airport. Property was exceptionally clean; comfy bed. I found it a bit difficult to get to a downtown restaurant .. due to limited parking down Brindisi. Perhaps, taking public transportation would be a better idea? Antonello had several sufgestions for restaurants; he was very helpful!"

"This property is located on an olive farm surrounded by the olive trees and stone walls as far as the eye can see. The Trullo and the main house are set apart from each other on either side of a stone patio with a large outdoor dining table, a stone pizza oven at the end of the trull and an outdoor fireplace. We made pizzas one night and another great fire pit night chatting and drinking wine around the fireplace. Behind the main house overlooking the farm is the beautiful pool and another...

"Hotel was great, extremely clean and tidy. Good location for beaches and a few restaurants. We stayed in a penthouse room, which was spacious with a lovely balcony. Breakfast was included on our booking and was lovely too. Would recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and more facilities. There doesn’t appear to be any bus service in the area so you may wish to consider either a hire car or taxi if you wanted to see outside of this resort area."

"We arrived a little later than planned due to a 2 hour flight delay but were greeted enthusiastically by the owner’s mother who spoke no English. We muddled through the walk through of this amazingly beautiful trulli but later the owner and her daughter came and explained a little more in English. The trulli is picture postcard beautiful both inside and out. I like to cook so found the kitchen a little lacking. I did however learn to use a Bialetti caffitiera and cook porridge on the stove...
