It’s in the best area, right in the centre of Budapest, and there are loads of shops and restaurant options around.
The room was clean, and I was greeting with a lovely welcome of a small bottle of champagne and chocolates. Everything was perfect, including the brilliant and kind staff members, who were very helpful

You cannot find a place like this hotel anymore. Great building, period room/suite with solid wood accents, and period armoire. Amazing view from large window of the Budapest Opera House. Close to the Rodéo Drive of Budapest with Gucci, Omega, Rolex stores. Adjacent to cozy bars and pubs featuring Hungarian dishes as well as all others.
BUT, most appealing was the receptionist/conciege tandem of Laslo and lidikó. Beyond helpfu, beyond friendly, their responsiveness and timely introductions to Budapest made the start of our 50th anniversary travel memorable.
