Summary:
The Pedernales Cabin at A-Frame Ranch is a modern A-frame cabin set on 17 beautiful acres right on the edge of charming Fredericksburg, TX. This is a place to truly unwind and feel like you’re out in the country, while being less than a 10 minute drive to Main Street. The area has so much to offer, from dance halls and wineries, to gourmet restaurants and hiking. Or stay in the entire weekend- sit back on the deck while gazing at the stars and then watch the deer go by in the morning!

The Space:
Rooms 1 & 2: These bedrooms have king-sized beds and are located on the main floor. The comfortable beds have 400 thread count sheets and there are blackout shades, a sound machine, and full-length mirror in both rooms.

Room 3: The bedroom upstairs has two twin-sized beds (also 400 thread count sheets, black out blinds, and a sound machine).

Loft: The loft is open to the living room below, with 2 twin-sized beds and two 5' bean bags for hanging out and watching movies on the 50-inch smart TV with Roku so you can log into your favorite streaming channels.

Kitchen: Fully stocked kitchen for cooking, with stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave and all the equipment you’d need, including some spices, sugar, oil, and flour. Coffeemakers (drip, Keurig, and a French press) are provided. Ground coffee and tea provided. BYO K-cups.

Bathroom 1: There’s a walk-in shower with towels, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash provided. Hair dryer and iron available as well.

Bathroom 2: The bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower and all the same amenities.

Living Area: Amazon Alexa speaker to play music. Full sized sleeper sofa for extra guests.

Outdoor Area: Relax on the patio overlooking a dry creek and native post oak trees. Hang out around the firepit (propane provided) and then lounge around in the stock tank pool. There's a gas grill on site to cook up some meals! We also have a cedar barrel sauna on the property available to all guests.

Other notes:
- We have 7 A-Frames on this property, please be respectful of other guests.
- Additional $35/person per day after 9 guests.
- Pack and play available for kiddos.
- Watch for deer when driving to our cabin! They are abundant.
- We provide a starter set of trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper.

House Rules:
- ONLY toilet paper in toilet- we are on a septic system.
- Check out is 11:00 AM and check in is at 4:00 PM.

- Cars must remain on gravel at all times.

Feel free to explore the property, but please don't go exploring after dark and stay respectful of other guests privacy.

The Neighborhood:
The area has the feel of being out in the country, but is only a short drive to all the restaurants you could want! If you want to grab a quick breakfast to eat from the cabin, Hilda's has awesome breakfast tacos, and Caliche has excellent coffee. Otto's & Cabernet Grill are our favorites for a special meal and Enchanted Rock is great to get out and hike!

Getting Around:
Uber & Lyft available, as well private car and shuttle services.

While we don't live in town full time, we will be available via phone and email for our guests.

Great location, disappointing stay

Starting with the positive part, the location and setting of the property was great. Close to Main Street and yet felt like the woods with deer on property.Now for the issues. We had booked for 9 people but they did not provide us any beddings for the pull out sofa. Our son had a difficult time sleeping which resulted in us having a poor night’s sleep. Property was not clean , dishes were dirty , tissues shoved behind the fridge , window sills were dusty with cobwebs and the pullout couch had goldfish and used napkins on and under it. Communication to fix the issues was not smooth either which made things more challenging.
