Fisherman paradise

The house was really nice and located in a wonderful spot. Problems were resolved immediately. We love the area and will visit again.

Beautiful place to stay to sit out on balcony to rest read and relax. Close proximity to beach which was never crowded which was nice for my grandsons. Only suggestion would be to clean tray under burners on grill before sets the grill on fire. Thanks again for making our stay great.

Fantastic getaway

Awesome

The home was clean, welcoming for all ages. The host and hostess was considered enough to have games for the kids, snacks out as a welcoming on dining table. This experience was totally opposite from one we had in the past with a different host in the same area. We will consider this home again when looking at the same area for our next fishing trip. Great job!

Above and Beyond Expectations!

I have a group of friends that come out to the area every year for a fishing getaway weekend. This is my 10th year coming out and I can honestly say that this was one of the best houses we have stayed at in the neighborhood. Nancy was hands down the best owner to communicate with and their attention to detail was amazing. The decor of the home, welcome baskets with candy/snacks, etc. was a great touch and really made the weekend even better. I was truly impressed by the little details (like an emergency box in case of power outage) and things you wouldn't normally think of that they had everywhere. You can tell they care about their guests and go the extra mile to make sure the stay is amazing. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this property!!

Excellent stay, thank you! Very easy check in. Home was very clean, all of the essentials were provided and in good condition. The location was amazing - views of water all around, loved the patio and shaded area underneath. Great spot for relaxing, fishing and enjoying quality family time. Hope to be back!

Second Stay Even Better!

This is a lovely home close to several beach access options! Easy to come and go and a 25 minute drive to the main attractions in Galveston. We made a lot of memories and slept well every night! This is the perfect house for just relaxing!! We’ll be back next summer!

Wonderful stay at Island Tyme

We enjoyed staying at Island Tyme very much. Any questions we had, Nancy was there to address them. We had some difficulties with setting the A/C thermostat, but Nancy answered very quickly and had us knowing what to do in no time. We would definitely stay here again!! Nice clean house and being on a canal was a plus.

First of all the owner's are so pleasant and informative. Its not one time that they didn't respond back to us about vacation questions and any other questions. Nancy was so kind, very understanding of my medical issues. I just want to tell everyone please rent this home, its beautiful, comfortable and its decorated very nice. Fishing and crabbing we just has a blast!! Thank you so much for allowing us to borrow you home. We will be back very soon. 😊😊

Clean and Quiet with fishing dock

Pro: Clean and Quiet. Kitchen fully stocked and check in/out was easy and a breeze. Fishing was fun. Con: Not a lot of options for food in that area, and the closest restaurant that's referenced in the pamphlet is closed. No real easy path to beach. , we drove towards Galveston and drove to one of the public beaches (there's plenty to choose from). The night fishing lights that's part of the property was not working and was told that prior guest had disconnected the night lights and an electrician could not come out to fix it on short notice. After talking to Stan, the neighbor, he basically said the lights sometimes work and sometimes don't and didn't really believe that the last renters disconnected the green light. We were bummed that there was no green light for 'epic' night fishing as this was one of the reasons my wife chose this spot. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I would rank this at a 3.5 stars.

WEEKEND FISHING TRIP

Excellent location for fishing in the canal or under the toll bridge with a boat. The house was clean and had plenty of room. Beautiful view of the water and toll bridge. I would stay here again. The family loved it.
