Great place to stay if you want to be beachfront! Host was very quick and communicative. Everything worked well and was clean. The beach was private so fishing with the dog was calm and relaxing. I will definitely stay here again!

I like Freeport it’s a close to mid sized town that’s still small enough to not get lost in the city mentality. People seem friendly. Lots of chemical plants, but hey this is Texas

Would not recommend Anchor Motel or Expedia unless you like being harassed, threatened and asked for drugs

Surrounded by industrial parks which really threw me off but at night the lights are actually pretty, the locals were all great (karaoke at Ken's on Saturday nights), walkable restaurants, and a large clean beach with plenty of space for all.
