You're spoiled for sightseeing choice when spending time in Nagaoka. Fujihashi Historic Plaza is a good place to kick off here, but there are plenty of other worthy attractions to check out. Machinaka Fireworks Museum, Echigo Hillside Park, and Yukyuzan Park are near the open-air museum and will round out your day nicely.
