“The Cottage and Castle is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated and situated in a lovely neighborhood of colourfully painted houses and As well it is anIt’s a real gem. However as we returned after an evening out the stench in the air from a soil, composting, wastewater and recycling treatment plant was overwhelming. I there is a solution to this as Chemainus is a charming town and the Cottage and Castle was exceptional! ”

“对面就是个小小的海湾，很别致的一间民宿，看得出店家对生活品质的追求，客房在二楼，一共有两间，有共享的客厅和厨房。店家自己住在三楼。会准备美味的早餐，前提是到店后填写早餐菜单，店家会提供一张备选清单，在上面填写用餐时间及选择喜欢的口味，完成后放在餐台上第二天就可以边赏海景边用早餐啦！”

“We really loved the location of this property. It was very close to downtown . Just off the main street and very quiet. In the back of the property was free parking and a nice fellow at the reception desk when we arrived. He explained how everything worked which was quite simple and everything in our room was clean and in working condition. Just around supper time they deliver your breakfast that you put in the fridge for the morning. It consisted of a muffin and yoghurt and some cheese and……

“Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked……

“Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nothing special but a reasonable place to stay for a reasonable price. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper or a princess but we enjoyed our stay. ”
