'Stunning Views': beachfront villa with pool

'Stunning Views' is a big villa (700 sq metres) with swimming pool, wifi, airconditioning and a huge garden (1 hectare big). The villa was awarded the 'Best view of Lake Garda 'prize by an Italian villa rental magazine for its views of Lake Garda and the unique famous location of Punta San Vigilio: a lovely, secluded place on Lake Garda. It is in the lovely area of San Vigilio di Garda, a five minutes walk (or two minute drive, if you prefer driving) from the very famous beach Baia delle Sirene (the Mermaids beach). This beach has got a "beach style" restaurant and bar for lunch. There is also a luxury restaurant and a famous prosecco bar in a lovely renaissance listed building next to the beach. The villa's spacious interiors have just been renovated, (very fast wifi, airconditioning, new interior refurbishing and a bigger kitchen in 2023) yet the villa still retains its original 1900 neo-classical charm (listed building). The big fenced garden is immersed in a nature reserve with century old trees and rare flowers, walking and MTB paths. Nearby many lovely pretty hamlets of Lake Garda with harbour , castles, and delicious restaurants. A short drive from the villa: boat rentals, street food markets, shopping malls with italian fashion, excellent wine tasting, ferry tours, Venice, Italian "Disney" biggest park Gardaland, thermal baths, Verona, Parcosigurtà, Borghetto, Sirmione, Vicenza, Padua, Milan, Bergamo!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful summer villa. The house is magical, the view is indeed stunning and the host is just great: super communication, information and tips, highly positive both in writing and in person. The garden and the pool was great both for sunbathing and a cool down, as was Lago di Garda and the Garda city Beach. Monte Baldo (by Chair lift from Pre Alpestina 1h away) was also a great experience. Many nice restaurants in the Garda area and nice hikes just outside the garden. We are very happy to have found this place - hope someday to be able to return

Extended family get together

We booked this villa to treat our children and their young children and to share a holiday with them and by Australian brother. The location and views were spectacular and the rustic villa was comfortable for us to enjoy and the resident owner looked after us well. The beach was not as close and easy to get to as we hoped but we found plenty to enjoy with hired cars. A great time for all.

Stunning villa and views of Lake Garda

Words cannot describe how much our family of 15 enjoyed our week at this beautiful villa on amazing Lake Garda. Maria Laura was such a wonderful host. The villa designed and built by her grandfather was amazing and so much better than the pictures portrayed. The view of Lake Garda was incredible especially the sunsets. We really enjoyed visiting several towns on Garda , daytripped to hike in the Dolomites, day trip to Venice , and Padua and even got tickets for outdoor opera in Verona. We enjoyed the beautiful villa and the kitchen had been redone and was great. The only challenge for us were only 4 bathrooms for 15 adults but it worked. We also had a little trouble walking down to the beach on the lake. Maria Laura was the perfect host and even mailed some books we left behind to us. We will cherish our memories of this wonderful place all our lives. Thank you ML

Absolutely magical

The property is breathtakingly beautiful, with a lot of history and an amazing garden with stunning views especially with the sun set in the evening. Maria was very Kind and helpful through the whole booking process and the welcome was very nice and pleasant. We were there with 15 friends and I can highly recommend this place for a group of this size.

Amazing vacation

San Vigilio is the best location and the best beach on Lake Garda, so clean and refreshing! The house is the largest we have ever stayed in (and the garden was massive too!), with top quality luxury airconditioning and wifi. The pool is perfect and clean. They can get you a chef and food delivery for very reasonable prices on request. Food and wine are spectacular BTW. The owners are professional tour guides who will go out of her way to make you feel home and organize the days out / sightseeing. Don't forget Gardaland Disney Park if you have kids, it's only a couple of minutes drive from the property. Rental rates much lower than the other luxury villas on the same beach, as it is a family owned kind of business, and they seem to be very eager to make you want to come back the following summer (which we'll certainly do by the way). You can't go wrong with this imho

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Tage mit 13 Personen in der weitläufigen Villa.

Die Villa ist so großzügig geschnitten, dass jeder ausreichend Freiraum hat und was uns aber viel wichtiger ist, so große Tische, dass alle zusammen bequem Essen können. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Kinderbetten und Hochstühle sind vorhanden Der Garten mit dem Pool ist einfach nur traumhaft. Die Villa lebt von dieser einzigartigen Lage. Wir hätten uns allerdings gewünscht, dass die Müllentsorgung bei diesem Preis inbegriffen ist.

We were a bit scared of how the villa itself would be, due to he lack of pictures. But the inside is very nice. The view is indeed stunning as is the entire setting of the villa. PEACEFUL HEAVEN

I never said this in a review, but we liked everything! Miraculous views, gracious hosts, comfy beds, sparkling clean bathrooms, superfast wifi, amazing pool. A local path brings you down to the beach of San Vigilio in four minutes. A great base from which to explore the Veneto (Venice is superb!). Most definitely will be coming back.

Traumhafte Aussicht, super Lage und tolle Zeit.

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich leicht versteckt an einem Hügel außerhalb von Garda, von wo aus man in 3 Himmelsrichtungen auf den See schaut. Das Haus selbst war auch für 12 Personen groß genug und einladend, lediglich die Küche ist zum Kochen für viele Personen manchmal vielleicht ein wenig klein, was aber nicht wirklich einschränkt. Es gibt ausreichend Bäder und Toiletten. Der Garten ist einfach nur traumhaft, genug Platz für jegliche Freizeitaktivität und der Pool lädt zum Baden und Abkühlen ein. Die Größe des Pools war für uns absolut ausreichend. Es gab 7 Liegen, um sich im Garten mit Blick auf den Gardasee zu sonnen. An zwei Abenden hatten wir die Kochkünste von Carmen, welche auch mit uns den Check In durchführte gebucht, was sich definitiv gelohnt hat. Der Kontakt im Vorfeld und auch während des Aufenthalts mit Maria Laura war immer super nett, schnell und hilfreich, Danke hierfür :) Wir kommen definitv wieder!

Wunderschöne alte riesige Villa mit riesigem Garten und unglaublicher Aussicht

Wir (2 Familien mit fast erwachsenen Kindern, 10 Personen) haben den Aufenthalt von der ersten Minute an genossen. Maria Laura war von Buchung bis Abreise eine super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die sich toll gekümmert hat. Der Garten der Villa ist riesig, die Aussicht atemberaubend - Frühstück im Schatten mit Blick auf den Gardasee einfach klasse! Innen ist das Haus hübsch und freundlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist etwas klein, hat aber alles, was man braucht. Das gesamte Haus bietet so viele Möglichkeiten, dass man sehr entspannt sein Plätzchen finden und nutzen kann - auch mit Heranwachsenden :-). Der Pool ist toll und weil jederzeit verfügbar, immer und immer wieder eine sehr willkommene Abkühlung an heißen Tagen. In wenigen Minuten kann man außerdem über einen kleinen Trampelpfad direkt zum See in die Baia delle Sirene runtersteigen - ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen! Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche abseits von allen Corona-Sorgen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Palatial 19th century country manor rising out of a rocky seafront peak, nestled in "pandemic friendly" glorious isolation 2km south of Torri del Benaco. The beach (ideal for families and children, with sunbeds, bar, restaurants and pizzeria) is a 5 minute walk from the house. The private swimming pool with lounging deck and sunbeds are so relaxing you won't want to ever move from this paradise! The interior oozes style with marble and wood minimalist décor, and boasts high speed wifi, airconditioning and thick stone walls to keep cool in the summer heat. Lush garden with huge carpark.

A memorable family reunion in a beautiful villa

The villa was just as advertised by Maria Laura but the photos did not do the views or the location justice. Up a winding driveway the villa is situated far away from traffic noise and crowds with glorious views of the lake. Mornings and evenings were spent leisurely dining on the patio, the children playing in the grounds or in the pool, with the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Garda. In August the daytime temperatures were very warm but the cool evenings were a delight. The numerous rooms and passages were a haven for the children to explore in the villa, and they were also fortunate to be able to share in the fresh figs from the trees which just happened to be ripe. Every day was filled with a new adventure in surrounding villages and towns, each with its own special character, food and wine. Venice was one major day trip which was filled with suprises and photo opportunities at every turn. Alas, we were not able to see as many sights as planned. We were however very happy to potter around and relax by the lake, and to take in the local ambiance. More to look forward to for our next visit which we will certainly do. Maria Laura made sure that our stay went according to plan and was in communication throughout our visit to make sure we had what we needed. The whole transaction and organization of the visit was smooth and without any issues at all. If you are looking for a very authentic Italian experience, in a rustic location, surrounded by scenic vistas and lots of history, this unique location is for you.
