“Pet friendly, family friendly. However, the hot water had a very, very strong, sulfur smell. The water tarnished silver jewelry after taking a shower. Although the bathtub is lovely, the smell of the water made it impossible to enjoy it. The only reason we gave it three stars was because of the smell of the water. The owner of the property did supply ample bottled drinking water and they were responsive to our needs. The home is lovely.”

Pros: a lot of room for hanging out inside and outside, a small but stocked kitchen for cooking an easy meal, comfortable twin beds and a great location for exploring the Beaufort area. Cons: an Airstream is difficult to keep at a comfortable temperature (we were hot during the day even with the AC on and froze at night), the shower had little water pressure and was a challenge...

“We found this place for a quick three-day getaway. It's a beautiful old home! Very clean! The A/C worked wonderfully, as the heat and humidity are gearing up for summer. We so enjoyed the wine bar and sitting out on the upstairs balcony. It is surprisingly cool in the evening, as the breeze blew across the porch.
