“Overall, we had a really great time at Haven by the Falls. The icemaker was a nice touch, and we enjoyed reading the vintage fishing books in the living room. The location right in the county park was super fun. For the price, I wish they would have disclosed that there was no air-conditioning. It was a very hot weekend in July. The beds and bedding were also pretty uncomfortable. Again, for the price I would’ve expected something a little better. ”

“Had an amazing stay at Butler’s Bay cabin. We had a family of 5 with kids 8, 11, 14. Washer, dryer and AC were important to us and the location can’t be beat! The kids loved the sandy lake entry, dock and the boat rental topped it off. Comfy, spacious, clean and easy to find. Our first night we were lucky to have perfect stargazing weather and it did not disappoint. ”

“Our stay was lovely, and we hope to do it again. My only recommendation would be to put mirrors in the bedrooms for ease of getting ready while trying to free up bathrooms for other family.”

“We used this cute little place as a base for fishing day trips. It was perfect. Very handy to have the lodge right next door and be able to pop in for a drink or food. We ate there two nights and it is obviously a favorite neighborhood spot. Busy but not too busy, everyone was friendly. Definitely recommend a stay.”

“This property is very relaxing and homey. It was perfor the 5 of us that stayed. There were so many beautiful waterfalls around the area, and not far from Lake Superior! Sitting out back by the pond listing to the frogs and watching the dragon flies was actually relaxing. We even saw a mother and baby deer a few days come to the pond! We loved our stay and would love to go back and experience it in the fall.”
