Gowalkot Fort had an important defensive role over the years. Now a historic site, you can just imagine some of the spectacles its mighty walls have witnessed.
You'll want to have your camera close at hand when you're visiting this history-filled fortress. It attracts many travelers who come to Chiplun. Also deserving of a few photos is Sawatsada Waterfall. Not far from Gowalkot Fort, it's another of this area's drawcards.
