“I was visiting family and this place was the perfect location..only disappointment was the coffee maker wouldn't work, needed descaling. When we visit family, this will be our go to!”

“Had an amazing time, beautiful property, and excellent accommodations! We stayed for 5 days and took advantage of the peacefull nature and tranquillity of the property. Host had the unit well stocked including firewood. We enjoyed seeing the deer daily and relaxing by a fire at night. The bed had a new memory foam mattress and the softest sheets, my back thanks you for not skimping. There was a washer and dryer if needed and a tankless water heater for endless hot water, oh and great water……

“We had a great stay at this house during our visit with our family from Kentucky. Having more seating options in the living room and even some chairs out by the fireplace would have made this place perfect! The house was larger inside than what we expected and really enjoyed when we hosted dinner for the family! We will be back and stay here again so long as our numbers stay low. If we bring all the adult kids and their significant others next time, we would need a place that sleeps more! Thank……

“What a pretty house! It’s new, so clean and so well decorated, each bedroom has lovely bedding. We love their lightings too. We liked that they have generous amount of towels. It’s so to the marina, we rent a boat enjoy a during our two night stay. The owner is so quick to respond. We’ll definitely stay here again!”

“The pictures of the property on here are beautiful but seeing it in person is amazing. We spent so much time on the deck in awe of the view everyday. Because of all the amenities provided for the lake we were able to have fun right away with kayaking and fishing. There is also a deck with a ladder for swimming. It was so serene and made us feel connected with nature again. The property feels safe with a large gate and lock keeping the entry to the drive secure and a large front yard for the kids……

“This house had both lots of charm of an older home along with nice updates as well. It has a great location that leaves you close to restaurants and other things in town. There are clear instructions on anything that is needed in the home, along with information on restaurants to visit and other things to do. The host was extremely fast in his communication and was very easy to work with. You get tons of house for a small price tag. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!”

“Property was exactly as listed. Kitchen appliances were a bit dated but adequate. Two small issues handled by hosts immediately. There were extra touches we didn’t expect-like a full candy dish, water and condiments in the fridge and cleaning supplies. Beds were comfortable and sunroom was a nice addition. Beautiful neighborhood with quick access to Green River State Park. Katie and Tracy were exceptional hosts.”

“We brought some of our family down for a fall break vaca… GREAT property! So cute and homey, fun upstairs for the grandkids area, 2 separate gathering rooms so adults could talk and laugh together apart from the kids playing. It was also good to have laundry facilities:) Very fun!”

“This comfortable historic home was the perfect place to stay with my daughter while visiting extended family in the area. I loved the beautiful hard wood floors, fire place mantle details and natural light through all big windows. The front porch had a large porch swing and the screened in porch was a great place for coffee in the morning. I was even able to host my siblings with their families for dinner and Scrabble games. The dining room is just the perfect size for small dinner parties.……

“We actually stayed in a different vrbo by this owner because the original house need unforeseen repairs just weeks before our arrival. The owner was great to accommodate. The house we stayed at is old (typical in the area) but it was clean and didn't smell old at all. Typically in old houses it can be dusty and the linens have an odd smell but not this house. We could tell the owner took care of the place.”

“It a great small place that was nice and close for access to Mammoth Caves and other sites in the area. It would be difficult to squeeze many more people in but it was a good size for our family of 5. The kitchen was mostly well stocked but was lacking baking trays or frying pans. Thanks you!”

“I wish we could have utilized the fire pit out back but it was ready if we wanted. We did have a hiccup but the host Larry worked it out with us and couldn’t have been nicer. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental and host!!!”
