“the only thing for me I didn't like was the mattress was very hard. I would stay there again, perfect location, great staff and breakfast.”

“The place was nice and big enough for the 2 of us. The bed/mattress was bad/warn mattress. There were a lot, and I mean a lot, of bugs in the bathroom, especially in the evening they came out. Hopefully the accommodation is able to do something about that. ”

“To sum it up: perfect stay. Our house was clean, comfy and the pool a delight. Our host took very good care on us and the first breakfast was included rounding up our vacation. There was some confusing on our behalf, since Expedia noted to get a mail prior to our arrival for access - then we learned that our host is on site already.”

“Amazing house in paradise, the entire accommodation was super comfortable and with all necessary equipment to make you feel at home , the kitchen is fully equipped and even has washing machine if you need to wask some clothing,everything is in full conditions Simple but with love this house will not disappoint you. The views from the living room and from the lovely balcony are a must. And the team ,specially the receptionist ,went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible !……

“Beautiful hostel, felt a like a hotel (just with bunk beds). Rooms had nice beds with linen, two pillows and two towels. Bathroom had great water pressure and each bed has their own shampoo/conditioner/soap which was very nice. Tap entry keys to main door and room doors felt safe, closets with key locks were a good size. ”

“It is a famil, running guesthouse. There is a very nice view of the ocean and Mt. Pico. The stuff is exttemly friendly and always prepared to help you. They are very helpful with advice. They alsk offer transfer. I would definitely stay here again.”

“A casa está muito bem localizada, na estrada principal. O supermercado perto é a maior valia, mas também se chega ao centro de Madalena com 20 minutos a pé. Fomos em família, 6 pessoas adultas e não utilizamos a casa toda, que é muito grande. A relação preço/qualidade muito equilibrado.”

“The air was very damp and smelled like mold. There was indeed some black mold on the shower curtain and on the window curtain. Everything felt slightly damp in the room including our pillows. It was therefore extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep. We woke up in the morning feeling nausea presumably because of the disgusting air. There was also a door to the outside that rattled loudly every time a gust of wind blew which also made it hard to sleep. Overall I would recommend finding different……

“Pleasant surprise with gift basket and heater on at arrival! We never saw the host, but very accommodating online. Well equipped and nice location. On the downside, the beds and pillows are very hard.”
