“I cannot recommend this lodge highly enough. Each room is its own beachfront bungalow, well equipped and comfortable -- nothing posh. Service is kind and accommodating. Cuisine is fresh and delicious. While many guests come for sport fishing and other activities, all I did was chill out. It was paradise. Language note: While I mostly managed with my schoolboy French and a few pleasantries in Portuguese, some staff speak English, including the cheerfully energetic proprietor, Solange. Overall,……

“It was a nice hotel in the heart of Bissau, comfortable and convenient. The breakfast and dinner menu was great with local and Portuguese cuisine. The staff were helpful. But the contact details on Hotels.com were too sketchy with no e-mail address and a single telephone number which was not responding. Because of this I could n't contact them for Airport shuttle. ”
