Camina hacia el helado. Teatro en vivo, fogones de humo! 64 Main se encuentra en un gran lote de esquina en el Friendly Village de Harrison, Maine. El dueño actual creció en Harrison. Él y su familia regresaron en 2016-17 para restaurar la antigua casa de su Doctor. (Dr. Rubie Day fue una de las primeras osteópatas femeninas de Maine). La gran sala familiar (una vez que un granero) y adjunta proyectado en el porche son los favoritos de muchos. El propietario trató de preservar la mayor cantidad posible de la casa original mientras creaba una casa duradera, segura y cómoda. Our group includes 2 households of 3 generations with 5 adults and 3 children, and we all love coming here. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor space, including a huge backyard. The 5-minute walkability to the playground and beach is absolutely fantastic, and there are nearby kayak rentals, hiking trails, bike rentals, etc., as well as relatively nearby bowling and other indoor options. Portland is also reachable about an hour away. Barbara is a phenomenal host and very responsive. Fresh flowers and pastries welcomed us into the home. We did find wasps behind the grill, but the owner came by and sprayed a few hours after we notified her. Garage is stocked with all you need for the lake. Plenty of games with plenty of space to play them in. ##### Katherine A. We stayed at 64 Main Street with two other families, 6 adults and 7 kids under 6\. The home was awesome, three floors with the third floor being a loft style space, the kids were obsessed. Then the lake, playground, basketball court, restaurant, general store and ice cream are all within a 5 minute walk. We didn't have to put our kids in the cars once! Anyone looking for a chill vacation spot with all of the conveniences this is the place to be! We will definitely be coming back! ##### Brett S. Old Maine charm, with modern luxury, and steps to Crystal Lake! Our family enjoyed every moment of our stay. Coffee on the screened porch in the morning, big breakfasts and dinners prepared in a fantastic kitchen with open dining and space for everyone to gather together. We loved the spaces created for the children, plenty of books and games to play in the evening. This was the best stocked home of any we have rented! We are so grateful! This was my family's 3rd year returning here, and we had a wonderful time. The house, lake, and local area appeal to everyone in our multigenerational group. We all love being so near to the water, and the walkability of Harrison for ice cream and basics. The location is beautiful and the house is lovely. Barbara is also very helpful and responsive. We briefly had a power outage during a storm on this visit, and she responded to my message right away, and was immediately in touch with local services to report the outage and get an ETA for us on the repair. Everything was resolved within about 2 hours. I highly recommend this location! ##### Robin K. So many bedrooms so no one had to share a room, great spaces to hang out in and chat. Short walk to the beach and downtown. Barbara is very responsive and a great host. Property owner was very responsive- we noticed a couple wasp nests on the house and she had someone over spraying the nests immediately. The house is amazing, Barb has thought of everything that we would need for a stay. The home has such a warm and charming feel. The location is amazing for fun activities. If I had to pick 1 of my favorite rooms (which is very difficult to do), I would say it’s the side porch. Having my morning coffee and watching my kids work on a puzzle together is awesome.
