“We had to postpone our trip due to a COVID case, and the owner was extremely helpful and flexible with helping us get rebooked. We also had some questions throughout the stay and communication was always prompt and friendly. The itself property was very clean, cozy, and well heated (we went in November). A wonderful location, tucked away on a quiet lake but only about 10 minutes away from all the essentials (key because the water cannot be consumed). Would strongly recommend for any time of……

“We spent a fall weekend with our 8-year-old and dogs. We all had a great time. The property is exactly as described. We spent much of our time on the river and the fire pit at the edge of the river was wonderful. Comfortable home with everything you need. It was great to have shopping amenities 8 minutes away. Overall perfect for what we wanted and we'd be happy to return.”

“Me, my siblings and friends had a great stay in this cottage for 4 nights and definitely had a blast. The cottage has all the equipments you need for a comfortable stay. They also provided firewoods for bonfires right beside the lake. Also, the lake has very clean water good for both swimming and fishing. Extra ameneties like paddle boat, kayaks, stand up board and water vests. The location is great for a quiet getaway and also provides great privacy.”

The grandchildren had fun exploring the property finding the games and toys. Principal rooms are large; appointments make it luxurious; the beds were comfortable, the appliances, utensils, plates and glasses were used. It was the perfect venue to complete an emotional day. “Bill was a very good host, helpful and interesting but not intrusive in any way so our stay was very peaceful in a green setting. The accommodation is very well equipped and the food provisions for breakfast excellent and including local products. Visitors have to be aware that the nearest town of several, Madoc, is 25km away but has all one could wish. ”
