"I debated writing this review but after staying in 3 other rentals during our trip, this was the only disappointing booking we had. We arrived & the overhead garage door was left up, with the door connecting into the house unlocked. Check in instructions stated there would be a lock box near the door with a house key, so immediatly I messaged the host asking if I should be concerned. "We had a wonderful stay at this home.Our days were hot and long in Grand Island. This house was the perfect spot for our group—spacious, clean, and so peaceful. After busy days in the “city”, it was such a treat to come back to a quiet, calming location instead of a crowded hotel.We especially loved the quiet evenings sitting on the deck, soaking in the fresh air and watching lightning bugs dance across the lake. "From the pictures, the house appeared older but clean, which I was fine with. However, when I arrived, the experience was quite different. The first sign was when I used a washcloth and noticed makeup stains still on it.The final straw was when I took a shower and grabbed a towel, only to find it was dirty.
