The hotel is close to the I15. They allow dogs but the charge for a dog for a single night is atrocious at $100. We travel frequently with our dog and we often stay at Residence Inns. The usual fee is $25, up to $50, on the high end. I've never seen anything higher than $60, so $100, in our experience, is unheard of. We would have walked away but we'd already paid the non-refundable reservation as we were driving to Helena. We should have dug deeper to see the pet fee. Lesson learned!
Our one bedroom suite was well laid out and plenty big enough, but the couch was in terrible shape and the carpet was not well vacuumed. The room was in need of some updating. The first thing we do, after we check in, is a thorough search of the floor to look for things our Lab could possibly find and ingest. We found lots of things that were missed by the vacuum, though nothing of concern, such as dropped meds.
No complaints about the staff. They were very friendly and quickly accommodated our request for a unit on the ground floor close to an outside door. The pet area is well laid out and kept clean.
This hotel is going through a renovation so maybe we just got a room that hadn't been renovated yet, so as to accommodate our room location request.
