The view from the balcony is terrific and the location is perfect for getting around between Kaiserslautern and Zweibrucken. "A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"Lovely accommodation food really good and great choice of breakfast. The only fault we had is with parking, after having driven 7 hours we found nowhere to park. We had to park on pavement across road, don't rely on parking being available. I think the great location and setting meant other non residents used the hotel parking."
