Simply put I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 15 years. Last time was 2020 in January. Maybe that says something. The room had run out of shower soap and despite my best efforts it never came over a 3 night stay. The bar was closed unless you asked for something. But was not maintained so the draft beer was not drinkable and the liquor and mixer choices were scarce. Finally no refrigeration in the room. So over 3 nights it was sadly an issue. The staff were friendly and polite. I was told the recent change of ownership wanted the bar gone and I suspect have little idea of what hospitality is.
This is sad for me as a returning Cardiff native from the USA.
