“This place is crying out for The Hotel Inspector or Gordon Ramsay to storm in and shake the owners out of their stupor. There’s genuine potential here — the kind of charm and setting that could make it special — but it’s completely undermined by a burnt-out, disengaged owner whose negativity sets the tone the moment you walk in.
